This is my 8th month being single. Not that I'm counting. It's more like a "Congrats self, you've outlasted your quarter-life crisis!" proof.

Life has been a roller coaster ride. I had dreams and goals that were taken away just like that. (sorry napaka-cliché haha!) But for quite some time, things have started to look up. I have risen and have slowly been picking the pieces together.
Within this year, I have had many opportunities to commit. I just couldn't say 'I love you' back. And yes, it has been awkward EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. As much as I like being in a relationship, having a partner you can constantly rely on, talk to, have sex cuddle with (LOL yes) I must say I'm enjoying this life that I currently have. I have done so many things I've only hoped to try, met new friends, rekindled with old friends, take on more responsibilities, take a look at my career, do spontaneous decisions, party (napaka-profound!) et al.

I will admit that this lifestyle has been exhausting. Fun and amazing, yet exhausting. I will eventually get tired of this life. For sure. I just know it. But for now, I'll make myself happy by loving myself first. For now, I'm choosing to be selfish.
