Quick Two portions are two random things I can think of writing a random update on. They may or may not be related to each other.




I ran out of facial wash so I turned to my BDJ Box for facial wash samples. I pulled the Shiseido Extra Gentle Cleansing Foam from the The Skincare line. (Wow, that name is so generic, could they really not think of a better name?)

Let it be known that it was able to remove my waterproof eyeliner. It's so nice having to feel that my face is so clean. An hour later, I'm still catching myself unconsciously touching my face with the back of my palm.

For the past two days, I've been having breakfast at BGC before going home. I'd say if I had unlimited funds, I'd be doing this everyday. It's such a great way to de-stress, especially when you're with friends while at it. I wish I had a breakfast club who always eats at BGC.

Yes, I already checked if there's something for me at Google PH. There isn't.

Although I still don't have more details, I know that it is in Makati. I honestly don't think there's anyone who doesn't want to work for the Top 1 most liked company in USA by employees. (It is from the same study where my company is currently on the Top 10 Most Hated)

Before, I have always maintained that I shouldn't over saturate my Instagram profile with my face. But when 2013 came, I even have to make an effort to post random things just so I can break my vanity rampage. It is hard. (That's what she said!)

One day, I'll probably bring my camera for higher resolution in my photos. Nevertheless, this micro vanity breaks (©JV Maralit) have been a great stress reliever for me. Let me put it this way: Some take yosi breaks, I do this.


There are two types of people who take their photos from elevator reflections: great dressers with no personal photographers a la Camille Co, or really vain people. Seeing that I would take my photo regardless of how haphazardly I dressed, of course I belong in the latter!

One time, my iPhone camera lagged too long and the elevator already reached my floor. I did the most sensible thing, and that is to make a round trip back to the ground floor. Yes, someone I know saw me. Kebs!

Then, there are times when I feel like "Hey, I just woke up. I'll drop my side bangs and put on lipstick. Only lipstick." Very Titanic Rose moment. I used to wear only nude lipsticks because I was scared that colored ones are too loud and something I cannot pull off. 2013 is going to change that.


Since the office stairwell is my favorite place in the office to cry and/or make personal phone calls, one day it hit me. Why do I not take photos using the floor to ceiling windows that reflects my image!


Then it leveled up. I started feeling comfortable with my fire exit. Yes, I have already marked it as my territory and sweet escape.

The legs on those photos greatly depict my frustration for long legs, a few more inches and I would have made my childhood dream happen--joining Binibing Pilipinas. Huhu. All I can do now is to pose them in a way that would make them look longer and leaner. They are muscly in real life.

I originally just wanted to take a photo of my skirt. I just bought it last week from Arf, you see. Yesterday when I was in a hurry, still with dripping wet hair, I had to pick the fastest outfit I can from my pile of clothes. This led me to the most effortless combination that I always sport in such situations--The T-shirt + Girly Skirt Pair.

It's not even an ensemble, just a couple of clothing pieces worn together. For this certain pairing, I had to use a (ex)boyfriend shirt that was on the top of the pile.

Aaaand by now, you must probably be thinking, "Wow, what a narcissist! Who could ever make a post this long only to talk about herself and her vanity." For this, my only response would be...

I was expecting this box to be sent by January 15 but my sound Saturday sleep got disrupted when a loud delivery man kept on knocking on the gate.

What to do with a newly arrived lipstick? Never mind that I just woke up and haven't washed my face nor brushed my teeth. Instagram it, of course!

Like me, did you forget to click the "Do not upgrade" button before the free 1-month trial period of Amazon Prime ended? If you are also that negligent, this post is for you! (And I meant that with all my love)

Backing up, if you don't have an idea what I'm talking about, Amazon Prime gives you FREE two-day shipping, no minimum order size, unlimited instant streaming of movies and TV shows, and a Kindle book you can borrow each month. Overall, it's a pretty good deal, more so if you are a frequent online shopper. The only catch is the USD 79 price tag that it comes with.


Being someone who is least likely to invest in something like this, I'd jump for any chance to try this service for free. So when the opportunity arose, I signed up for the convenience of getting the items I ordered 3 or more working days earlier.

And since the trial is only for a month, naturally I'd forget about it. I only remembered when I received text messages saying my AMEX debit card transaction couldn't be completed because I have insufficient funds. I was thankful that I haven't replenished my GCash fund so I wasn't automatically debited by USD 79. That would've been a nightmare!

The Bad News

It's already January 3 and the BDJ Box for December has not yet arrived. If you are also subscribed for the December box and like me, you were also lightheaded when you read the SMS blast, allow me to post the screenshot of the FYI on the box arrivals.

On this note, we can put into consideration that the courier staffing is no longer in the BDJ team's control and it would be inhumane to really demand for the boxes to be delivered on January 1. I'm still willing to give this box a chance. If the contents are impressive, I might renew my prepaid subscription. If not, I just wish Glamourbox would accommodate more orders since they're forever out of stock.


The Good News

The FlickrMail was sent last week, but I was only able to see it just now. Flickr gave away 3 months of Flick Pro capabilities! Yey! What a treat, right?
I have always been a fan of how photos don't get eternally ruined, IQ-wise, during upload compression, like how they would when you upload them on social networking sites. If I was a heavy shooter-uploader of photos, I would seriously consider buying a Flickr Pro subscription but since I rarely upload photos nor do I really take photos that are worth the free space, I'm being practical by holding out.

But thanks to all the free time on my hand right now, I might be able to actually exert some effort towards this hobby, HOPEFULLY.
