Quick Two portions are two random things I can think of writing a random update on. They may or may not be related to each other.




I ran out of facial wash so I turned to my BDJ Box for facial wash samples. I pulled the Shiseido Extra Gentle Cleansing Foam from the The Skincare line. (Wow, that name is so generic, could they really not think of a better name?)

Let it be known that it was able to remove my waterproof eyeliner. It's so nice having to feel that my face is so clean. An hour later, I'm still catching myself unconsciously touching my face with the back of my palm.

For the past two days, I've been having breakfast at BGC before going home. I'd say if I had unlimited funds, I'd be doing this everyday. It's such a great way to de-stress, especially when you're with friends while at it. I wish I had a breakfast club who always eats at BGC.

I was expecting this box to be sent by January 15 but my sound Saturday sleep got disrupted when a loud delivery man kept on knocking on the gate.

Package was sent at January 10 via Fasttrack.

As most of the BDJ Box subscribers already know, there was a half a month delay of the December box. To make it up, the package included a free BDJ Forget-Me-Not Ideas Journal. Awesome, right?




It's fuss free and a clear pad for everything you'd want to write/draw. I've been thinking of buying a journal for this year so this came just at the right moment.







What I liked most about this box at first sight is that there are a lot of full-sized products and like last month, it also came with discount cards for various salons an shops.


A little less cluttered but I still like everything in it. Without further adieu, here are the individual product shots.

Flormar Long Wearing Lipstick (Php 349) Let me be the first one to tell you that although it says long-wearing, it is not make out proof. :)

Snoe Beauty Beso Balm (Php 149) Tried it. It leaves a minty tingle to the lips. I like.

Pevonia Botanica Phyto Gel Cleanser 200mL (Php 3640) The most expensive among the contents although I haven't really heard about it.

Etude House Moistfull Collagen Trial Kit (Emulsion and Freshener) 150 mL (Php 628 each) Hopefully, I can try this some time.

The Bad News

It's already January 3 and the BDJ Box for December has not yet arrived. If you are also subscribed for the December box and like me, you were also lightheaded when you read the SMS blast, allow me to post the screenshot of the FYI on the box arrivals.

On this note, we can put into consideration that the courier staffing is no longer in the BDJ team's control and it would be inhumane to really demand for the boxes to be delivered on January 1. I'm still willing to give this box a chance. If the contents are impressive, I might renew my prepaid subscription. If not, I just wish Glamourbox would accommodate more orders since they're forever out of stock.


The Good News

The FlickrMail was sent last week, but I was only able to see it just now. Flickr gave away 3 months of Flick Pro capabilities! Yey! What a treat, right?
I have always been a fan of how photos don't get eternally ruined, IQ-wise, during upload compression, like how they would when you upload them on social networking sites. If I was a heavy shooter-uploader of photos, I would seriously consider buying a Flickr Pro subscription but since I rarely upload photos nor do I really take photos that are worth the free space, I'm being practical by holding out.

But thanks to all the free time on my hand right now, I might be able to actually exert some effort towards this hobby, HOPEFULLY.

I haven't been posted anything this week because every Christmas party was jam packed in the entire week. We even had to skip the party last Friday because a.) we're tired b.) teammates will skip it c.) we'd rather work from home. I am glad to say though that my 12.12.12 did live up to be the most memorable and once in a lifetime event that I hoped for.

• I came to the event knowing I'll get a chance to get a photo taken with Ramon Bautista. I'm no super fan but I really think he's intelligent and hilarious. Smart minds, for me, are sexy and such a turn on. That enough made me take that chance when he was at the side of the stage, getting a photo taken with another Groove friend, Dada. *cue memory snippet*

  And this is a highlight of my 12.12.12 night why? Because you know, abandonment issues can also make you feel really ugly, insecure, not worth it, plus every other negative thing, ALL AT ONCE. So really, this made my night in ways you can't imagine.


• Being that the production team sucked, we were not able to do tech runs on the stage, which eventually posed a lot of issues later that night. But being the sport that we are, we tried to enjoy the event and warm ourselves up before the opening dance segment. We did this by singing and dancing to the company bands' songs at the side of the stage. It was fun, even though everyone else in the audience probably didn't enjoy their performance as much as Groove did.


• The only action shot that I have from all the albums that surfaced so far. It's not perfect, projection-wise but I love seeing that my hair has gone this long. 

The POREfessional, Benefit

When the weekly getting drunk since November routine already showed it's effect on my skin, a.k.a. large pores, tiny bumps, coarse skin, and pimple scars, I immediately thought, "Shit, pano na yung mukha ko sa photos?" Then, I remembered that my BDJ Box subscription did include a renowned primer as a freebie on the first box!


I took it out of the box and lugged it into my makeup kit before I ran late to the call time in MOA SMX. Yes, this part of the blog post is still about the same day, 12.12.12.

After the last few rehearsal runs, we proceeded into getting our hair and makeup done. Everything was DIY so I had to pretend I know what to do in that hour. After I washed my face, I looked for my moisturizer and ta-da! It wasn't there so I skipped on to the primer.

I always wake up late, always past noon so when it gets interrupted, I automatically rage. There is, however, one sleep interruption that I can tolerate forever and those are the delivery guys bringing me packages and purchases online. Just this Friday, November 30, one arrived and it contained the 2nd BDJ Box I ordered on prepaid.

By noon today, a text came from a Fastpak saying he's already outside the apartment. I didn't really expect the BDJ Box to be delivered this early since I read from other blogs that it took them four days to a week of waiting before they got theirs. I can't be more happy because the delivery chanced on my work-from-home day so I was here to receive the package.


So how about I stop talking and post the unboxing shots?

Delivered to my house in 24 hours. Fast, indeed.

I wasn't able to take a photo of the postcard that contained the BDJ products of the month. (Haha I'm bad at this.)

It contained two things: the BDJ Box and the premium gift from Benefit.

Of course I chose the starred package! From my recent post, I noted the additional perks for paying for a prepaid subscription, and the Benefit product was one part of it. (Another thing is the lower monthly cost)


They didn't tell which Benefit product would be the "surprise" gift but I guess surprises are really something we all love so what I got was okay.


It came with five I'm Beautiful Like Me stickers. I love stickers. Maybe I'll do the tasks designated for each sticker. But if I get really selfish, I'll just keep them for myself.
